This course focuses on the structure and function of the integumentary, skeletal, and muscular systems in the human body. Students will learn to use anatomical directional terms and identify major organs within these systems and describe their basic functions. The goal of this course is to build foundational knowledge in anatomy and physiology while exploring common diseases and disorders related to these systems. This is the second half of a two-part anatomy and physiology series.

This course uses BYU’s Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes (KSA) model to give students the opportunity to develop both real-world 21st Century Skills and Social and Emotional Learning Soft Skills to develop college and career readiness.
