This course is designed to build upper-algebra skills. It will be a study of piecewise functions, systems of equations, advanced equations, statistical calculations, and trigonometric functions and formulas. This is the second course in a two-part Algebra 2 series. This course also encompasses Common Core State Standards (CCSS).
This course uses Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes (KSA) model to give students the opportunity to develop both real-world 21st Century Skills and Social and Emotional Learning Soft Skills to develop college and career readiness.

- Conics: Identify and classic conic sections, solve conic section formulas, and graph conic sections.
- Series & Sequences: Evaluate finite and infinite sequences and series.
- Probability: Calculate and describe probabilities for real-world events using probability distribution, and calculate basic statistics from sample data sets.

Algebra 2, Part 1 (ALG 055) or equivalent
